Author Janet Taylor-Perry

It's been so long since I was here that I think I need to reintroduce myself:

Like many of her characters, Janet is a history buff and loves anything of historical significance from old cars to old cemeteries. Get to know Janet and you'll see why she's been critically acclaimed at the Faulkner Wisdom Competition and why her writing continues to receive 4- and 5-star reviews. Her novel, Spirits' Desire, the second book in her Legend of Draconis series, won The Critter's, Preditor's and Editor's Award while the third book in The Raiford Chronicles, Broken, was a short-list finalist (top 20) at the Faulkner Competition. It could be that readers see so much of her in her characters: mother, grandmother, educator, author, editor, a leader in the Mississippi writing community as head of the Middle Mississippi chapter of the Mississippi Writers Guild; and board member of the Mississippi Writers' Guild, and a person who has overcome great obstacles and still holds on to her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
