to me
Hello Janet,
I hope you’re doing well. My name is Patricia E. Cook, and I organize the Monthly Readers’ Showcase, a lively literary community of over 1,000 readers and authors who come together to celebrate captivating storytelling and imaginative worlds.
Your fantasy novel, Last of an Exceptional Breed (The Legend of Draconis), truly caught our attention, a beautifully layered tale that blends mystery, destiny, and magic with a touch of heartfelt human connection. We believe it would deeply resonate with our audience, who love stories that awaken wonder and celebrate the power of belief and identity.
We’d love to feature Last of an Exceptional Breed in our upcoming Readers’ Showcase, where authors share the inspiration behind their books, connect with passionate readers, and grow their literary audience.
Participation includes:
A featured author spotlight during our virtual event.
Promotion to our engaged fantasy-loving community.
Networking opportunities with fellow authors and readers.
A small token fee is required to secure your feature slot and assist with event promotion setup.
Would you like me to send you the full details and registration information?
Warm regards,
Patricia E. Cook
Organizer, Monthly Readers’ Showcase
Given the Gmail address, the over-the-top personalized praise, and the fact that this supposed showcase has zero web presence, this looks to me like an example of an AI-driven scam that's unfortunately everywhere these days: https://writerbeware.blog/.../return-of-the-nigerian.../ . The goal is to charge you some sort of fee.
